Preparing for TKT
The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is a Cambridge exam designed specifically for English language teachers.
TKT is an internationally recognised qualification that assesses teaching skills and opens up new career prospects. It is aimed at both experienced teachers and those just starting out in their career. The test preparation takes only a few weeks, so you can prepare for the exam without the stress of a very long course.
The TKT test consists of several independent modules, each of which tests a certain aspect of teaching:
- Module 1: Background to language learning and teaching.
- Module 2: Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching.
- Module 3: Managing the teaching and learning process.
- TKT YL (for Young Learners) specifically tests the knowledge and skills needed for working with children.
- TKT CLIL: Content and Language Integrated Learning
