The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is a Cambridge exam designed specifically for English language teachers.
TKT is an internationally recognised qualification that assesses teaching skills and opens up new career prospects. It is aimed at both experienced teachers and those just starting out in their career. The test preparation takes only a few weeks, so you can prepare for the exam without the stress of a very long course.
The TKT test consists of several independent modules, each of which tests a certain aspect of teaching:
Online and offline training courses are conducted by experienced teachers and teacher trainers with international qualifications at the London School of English and Dinternal Education.
CELTA (Cambridge) is a prestigious international qualification for teachers.
Course dates are currently being updated.
If you are just starting a teaching career or if you are more experienced but want to bring your teaching skills right up to date, CELTA will provide you with all the necessary training. CELTA enables all teachers to enhance their pedagogical practices, and improve their professionalism and chances of promotion.
During the course you will learn the principles of effective learning as well as practical techniques to use in the classroom. You will also practice what you have learned with the guidance of your tutors.
By the end of the CELTA course you will gain ability and confidence as a teacher as well as gaining an internationally recognised certificate.
