Chinese from scratch for children and teenagers: a new program at the London School of English in Kyiv

Starting October 5, a new course - Chinese for beginners will launch at our school near the Livoberezhna metro station, led by qualified instructor Yevheniia Pavlenko. The course is designed for children and teenagers. 

Why learn Chinese?

Chinese is the most widely spoken native language in the world, with over a billion speakers. It is one of the six official languages ​​of the UN, and as China remains the world's second-largest economy, proficiency in Chinese is increasingly valued in international business, logistics, IT, and trade. It is taught in schools and universities across many countries, and the HSK international exam has become a standard measure of proficiency, much like IELTS is for English.

But for a child, Chinese is, above all, fascinating. Characters resemble little pictures with stories of their own, tones teach attentive listening, and learning the language opens the door to Eastern culture - its traditions, holidays, calligraphy, and cuisine. If your child is passionate about anime, Eastern art, or simply anything related to Asia, this course will turn that interest into genuine knowledge.

The course is designed for absolute beginners, so no prior preparation is required.

Course Details

• Start date: October 5
• Location: Kyiv, Livoberezhna metro station, 14 A. Sheptytskoho St.
• Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays, 16:00–17:30
• Cost: 2,880 UAH per every 4 week of studies
